OMV takes the next step: New advertising campaign dedicated to responsibility and transformation

  • OMV as reliable supplier of energy, fuels and feedstock for Austria, today and tomorrow
  • Sustainable and innovative transformation projects in all three business areas
  • Campaign starts on September 20, 2023

Austria’s largest integrated industrial company is taking the next step towards a more sustainable future and presenting its new 360-degree transformation campaign. It seeks to promote that OMV’s mission in Austria has always been to supply energy and raw materials to its customers. Innovative technologies are allowing OMV to renew this responsibility and adapt to the challenges of the future.

At the heart of the new OMV fall campaign is an image film that provides answers to a constantly changing world and the challenges of climate change. The theme is innovative solutions and products that OMV is already developing today – from geothermal processes to recycling currently non-recyclable plastic waste and expanding the infrastructure for electric mobility to more sustainable aviation fuel from used cooking oil.

"A priority for us is supplying our customers in Austria and Europe with energy and essential raw materials. The focus is on progress for humankind and the needs of real people. We are renewing this responsibility step by step and adapting it to current and future challenges. I am pleased that this campaign showcases our contribution to a more sustainable future," says Alfred Stern, CEO and Chairman of the Executive Board of OMV Aktiengesellschaft.

In its Strategy 2030, OMV has committed itself  to provide answers to a changing world and to the challenges of climate change, as well as  becoming a net-zero company by 2050 at the latest. OMV is transforming into an integrated supplier of sustainable fuels, chemicals and materials with a strong focus on circular economy solutions.

The campaign starts on September 20, 2023, and can be seen on TV and in Print, Digital and Out of Home.
